Find Sections (a.k.a. Section Filters) provides filter criteria to narrow down the selection of LTPP test sections. Users can apply filters from multiple classifications at their discretion. Selected Section Count is updated in real-time as the user applies filters.
The LTPP Jointed Concrete Pavement PMED Calibration feature is designed to provide the performance data and inputs from the LTPP database for the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design (PMED) software. This will allow the user to run comparisons of model predictions against the actual performance data from LTPP test sections. In addition, users can implement the actual performance data from corresponding LTPP sections in order to calibrate AASHTOWare PMED distress models to the local conditions. The initial step in the design of this feature is to show a proof of concept for LTPP GPS-3 and SPS-2 JPCP sections.

Since tables MEPDG_TRUCK_VOL_PARAMETERS, MEPDG_AXLE_PER_TRUCK and MEPDG_AXLE_LOAD_DIST_FACTOR contain information on the number of trucks in the LTPP lane, no adjustments for two-way traffic or lane distribution are required. The adjustment factors are set to 1, or 100% as appropriate.
The virtual weather station can be obtained for the LTPP section location by interpolation from the nearby weather stations.
